How is it even possible for #DavFS #FUSE to completely freeze #btop while an upload is running…? Since top appears to be working normal, I _assume_ that this is btop's fault? #Linux
@fionabradley I use it via #rclone on #Linux (mounted as a folder using #davfs), and I find it more stable than #OneDrive in Windows. Rclone is available for Mac too. It takes a little setting up, so it's not a drop-in solution for everyone
To mount #webdav remote resoures #Rclone is way more better than #davfs on #Linux and it can mount remote resources also on #FreeBSD through fuse!
What “davfs” means
WikipediaIn computer networking davfs2 is a Linux tool for connecting to WebDAV shares as though they were local disks. It is an open-source GPL-licensed file system for mounting WebDAV servers. It uses the FUSE file system API to communicate with the kernel and the neon WebDAV library for communicating with the web server.

every network with a public tag surfaceFollow #davfs straight to each platform’s own tag page. Where a platform publishes open data we measure it above; the rest lock their numbers behind paid APIs, so we link rather than guess.
Every number above is measured from a named public API at the shown fetch time. Nothing is estimated or extrapolated. Platforms that lock their data behind paid APIs are not shown. Agents: the same numbers, as JSON, at /api/hashtags/davfs
